Our Online Mission flew to India on Thursday 11 June 2020. Where we met Mr Kunal Kumar, Joint Secretary & Mission Director (Smart Cities Mission), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India. He is leading an ambition mission to accomplish 100 smart cities in 5 years – connected, liveable, energy efficient, adaptive and resilient cities. But what does ‘smart’ mean in a city? And how do we welcome the people-aspect in the Smart City discussion? Watch the recording of his presentation.
