The use of data in (smart) urban areas is becoming increasingly important in reaching Sustainable Development Goal 11: making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. During this Webinar we will dive into the world of the Urban Data in both the Netherlands and India. Three speakers will teach us more about the practicalities and usage of urban data in the urban planning process. How do you manage data and how do you standardize it?

This webinar focus on innovation in the field of Urban data with the following speakers:

  • Prof. Inder Gopal, visiting Professor – Indian Institute of Science (IISc) on Indian Urban Data Exchange
  • Mr. Bert Beentjes – Senior Strategist at the Netherlands’ Cadastre, Land Registry and Mapping Agency (Kadaster)
  • Mr. Albert Seubers, Director Global Strategy Smart Cities at Atos and member of the Board of Directors of the FIWARE Foundation
